Contrology® Springs

Balanced Body is proud to introduce Contrology® Springs, the best version of the original classic Pilates Reformer springs. Contrology® Springs are fully tested and guaranteed to provide a great classic feel to the Balanced Body Contrology Reformer.

To improve and correct these springs, we worked with some of the most experienced and brilliant Classical Pilates minds in the world, including Jay Grimes, Karen Frischmann and Sandy Shimoda. We are manufacturers, informed by experienced users whom we tracked down in Joe’s studio of course.

The specially designed springs provide the authentic feel and unique sound reminiscent of the original Reformer designed by Joseph Pilates himself.

The springs are only available in one resistance level, roughly equivalent to a Balanced Body Green spring, and are made from very high quality unalloyed carbon steel.
